Overview
The performing arts centre, the library, the senior and youth centre, and a central rectangular plaza comprise the revitalization masterplan for the civic centre of Pickering. The theatre features a 600-seat auditorium for orchestral music performances and a rehearsal studio that accommodates various community activities. The entrance and lobby face the plaza, which is an integral part of the art centre, providing space for the appreciation of both music and architecture.
